Leather
Surface
Decoration
Three families of materials to texture, print and decorate leather: casting release paper for embossing, acid transfer films for full-surface printing, and decorative foils, laminates and hot-melt designs for premium finishing.
Texture
Smooth and embossed release paper transfers a precise, repeatable grain — fine, medium, large, textile, fantasy or exotic — onto the surface of the leather during finishing.
Acid transfer films apply colour and graphics across the full surface of the leather using traditional or digital printing technology — preserving the natural look of the hide.
Decorate
Decorative foils, laminates, transparent hot-melt designs and lacquers — total or partial coverage for premium fashion, footwear and leather goods finishing.
Release Paper —
Textures for Leather
Casting release paper is the workhorse of leather finishing: a smooth or embossed paper that carries a precise texture and transfers it onto the leather surface during coating and embossing operations. Uniformity of finish and accuracy of the grain are what turn a hide into a finished article.
The catalogue is organised by grain family so you can match the right surface to your collection — from textile, fantasy and exotic patterns to medium and large grains, all the way down to fine grains and perfectly plain smooth papers.
- Smooth and embossed papers for repeatable, uniform finishes
- Texture families: textile, novelty & exotic — medium & large grains — fine grains & plain
- For fashion, luxury, technical leather, automotive and interior design
- Two seasonal collections per year — S/S and A/W — plus dedicated special editions
Transfer Films —
Acid Print on Leather
Acid transfer films print colour and graphics across the full surface of the leather, applied with both traditional (rotogravure) and digital printing technology. The film is applied to the entire surface and releases its pattern onto the hide, keeping the natural look and feel of the leather visible underneath.
Production widths up to 180 cm allow film application on hides and panels of every commercial size, with the same registration accuracy on long runs and short, fashion-driven series alike.
- Full-surface application — preserves the natural appearance of the leather
- Working widths up to 180 cm — suitable for whole hides and large panels
- Traditional rotogravure and digital printing — short or long runs
- Compatible with various leather types and fibres
- Optional special effects to further enhance the printed surface
Foils, Laminates &
Hot-Melt Designs
A complete range of decorative materials for premium leather finishing: full and partial metallic laminates that cover the surface in solid colour or pattern, transparent hot-melt designs that overlay a graphic while letting the leather show through, and protective lacquers for specific selective effects.
Total laminates cover the entire surface for a continuous metallic or pearl finish; partial laminates release the design only where the foil is engaged, leaving the rest of the leather untouched. The result is a finish suitable for footwear, leather goods, accessories, ready-to-wear and upholstery.
- Total laminates — full-coverage metallic and pearl finishes
- Partial laminates — selective decoration with the leather visible alongside
- Transparent hot-melt designs — graphic over a visible leather surface
- Laminated designs — colour and pattern combined in a single application
- Lacquers — for protective and decorative selective effects

Your Questions,
Answered
What is release paper used for in leather production?
Release paper carries a texture — smooth, fine, medium, large, textile, exotic or fantasy grains — which is transferred onto the surface of the leather during finishing. It is essential for creating uniform, repeatable embossings on fashion, luxury, technical and automotive leather.
What are transfer films for leather?
Transfer films are printed films, available with traditional and digital printing technology, that apply colour and graphics across the full surface of the leather. They preserve the natural look of the hide while adding decorative or technical effects, and are available in widths up to 180 cm.
What decorative foils are available for leather?
We supply a wide range of decorative materials for leather: full and partial metallic laminates, transparent hot-melt designs and lacquers for selective effects, and laminated designs combining colour and pattern. They suit fashion accessories, footwear, leather goods and upholstery.
Can these materials be used on natural leather?
Yes. Release paper, transfer films and decorative foils are designed to work on natural leather as well as synthetic substrates, preserving — or selectively masking — the underlying surface depending on the desired effect.
Do you offer seasonal collections of textures and trends?
Yes. Release paper textures follow seasonal fashion trends with two main collections per year — spring/summer and autumn/winter — plus special editions dedicated to specific themes.
What sectors use these leather decoration materials?
They are used across fashion (footwear, bags, leather goods, ready-to-wear), luxury accessories, automotive interiors, contract and residential interior design, and technical leather applications.
